I just need help I don't know what to do my mother is 100 lbs soaking wet and has horrible lungs and several heart attacks and emergency heart surgeries. She is not in good health at all however she abuses xanax if she has it I honestly don't know how she has made it through the night sometimes. Her dr has been warned I actually was able to send him a long heartfelt message by text to his personal cell phone explaining her issues and her past and what we go through and she will take like 15 or more in 24 hours. He continues to prescribe them to her every so often like 60 a time. Usually she gets bad enough we can find them cause she gets so out of it and flush them she even totaled a brand new car in this shape about 8 mo ago . Yesterday he gave her another script for 60 it had been 24 hours and I was able to find them with 37 left in the bottle she is combative disoriented stumbling not making sense I am so afraid what can happen but when she is like this she shuts me out or wants to fight me and accuses me of all kinds of things like stealing her money or tylenol stupid stuff. What can I do with this doctor if anything does anyone know we are not through this round yet so I'm praying she will come out ok. She will take no fault and will not accept she has a problem she will swear on my own life she had not taken anythjng or only taken a couple she never sees the wrong no matter what had happened in the aftermath of one of these episodes. Is there anything that anyone knows of that I can do to at least detour this dr from prescribing this horriblw drug. Help
